The Lakewood Ranch Republican Club
The Lakewood Ranch Republican Club (LWRRC) was co-founded in 2008 by Donna Hayes and Craig "DR T" Trigueiro, MD because they felt the greater Lakewood Ranch area and surrounding environs were Republican-rich and lacked a local forum. The LWRRC is the newest Republican Party of Florida chartered club in Manatee County. It is the fastest growing and one of the largest clubs with over one hundred members in its first six months.
It is a fellowship of people with like-minded political philosophies. The LWRRC is pro-business because we understand that businesses create jobs and wealth. Jobs allow everyday people to care for their families. Wealth creates a vibrant and dynamic community with diversity in cultures.
We are also dedicated to growing grassroots Republicans who actively participate in Republican Party affairs and campaigns. We understand that the Republican Party is a diverse party with a spectrum of beliefs. We are a party of inclusion, not exclusion.
Our meetings feature provocative speakers representing many aspects of political life. Our goal is to inform and stimulate our members and guests. Part of our focus is the greater Lakewood Ranch area and its environs. It is about what is happening in our neighborhoods.
